Directions To: MICROSOFT RESEARCH Cambridge, MA By Subway One Memorial Drive is located at the Kendall Square/MIT Red Line MBTA stop. Once you exit the MBTA station, you will be on Main Street and should walk towards the Charles River and the Longfellow Bridge, as if walking toward Boston. You will pass the Kendall Square Post Office, Kendall Flowers, Kendall Drugs and Fleet Bank on your right. Cross Wadsworth Street and proceed one more block to One Memorial Drive, the pink stone and green glass tower on your right just before you come to the Longfellow Bridge. Come to the security desk and ask for directions to Microsoft Research. Parking Options & Rates
For daytime events: NOTE: Parking is available in the basement of the building, but is very expensive. It costs $19 for the first hour, and $27 for two hours or more if you enter before 4pm. The entrance to the garage is on the right, immediately after the building itself. More info: (617) 621-1238
We recommend looking for metered spaces on the street, looking for free parking on Memorial Drive, or using one of these parking lots a 5-10 minute walk away: Standard Parking lot at One Broadway. For evening events: Parking is available in the basement of the building for $10 after 4pm. The entrance to the garage is on the right, immediately after the building itself. More info: (617) 621-1238 Free parking: The MIT parking lots are free after 5pm. There is also limited street parking near the building (meters, free after 6pm).

More info (617) 621-0956 There are also three Central Parking facilities located near Kendall Square: 10 Cambridge Center (Galileo Galilei Way) has an evening rate of $7 from 6-11pm. 7 Cambridge Center (on the east side of Ames St. between Broadway and Main) has an evening rate of $7 from 6-11pm. 4 Cambridge Center (corner of Main and Ames Streets) does not have an evening rate, and costs $8 for 1 hour, $17 for 1-3 hrs., and $23 for 3-24 hrs.

Directions by Car One Memorial Drive is located at the foot of the Longfellow Bridge on the Charles River, adjacent to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) campus in east Cambridge.
Memorial Drive runs parallel to the Charles River on the Cambridge side; Storrow Drive is parallel to the Charles River on the Boston side. The building is accessible via taxi, the Kendall Square subway stop, or car.
From Boston Take Longfellow Bridge toward Cambridge. At end of bridge take right exit signed 'Memorial Drive West.' At stop sign go right under Longfellow Bridge. Stay in right lane and take immediate right at other side of Longfellow Bridge underpass. Bear left and stop at intersection. (If you bear right you will go back to Boston on Longfellow Bridge). At this point One Memorial Drive will be right in front of you – a tall, pink stone and green glass building. At this intersection do not go left (there will be a no left turn sign on the right) because you would be going the wrong way on Memorial Drive, but proceed straight across the Memorial Drive road cut and then left onto access road in front of One Memorial Drive. (You will see a line of cars parked in front of the building – this is the road you want to be on). Take first right after building into driveway and parking garage entrance. Ask for directions to Microsoft Research at the security desk.
From South Shore 93 North through downtown Boston to Storrow Drive exit. Stay left and take first left exit to 'Government Center and Kendall Square, Cambridge.' On exit ramp stay right and make right turn toward Kendall Square and Cambridge over Longfellow Bridge. From here follow above directions From Boston.
From the North Take 93 South. Take the Storrow Drive exit. Follow directions from South Shore.
From the West Take the Massachusetts Turnpike East to Exit 18 'Cambridge/Allston' (this is a left exit). On the ramp the road splits; stay right toward Cambridge. Pass through two sets of stop lights and over the bridge. At the far side of the bridge, take a right at the lights onto Memorial Drive. Stay in the left lane and continue on Memorial Drive for approximately two miles. After passing through the Massachusetts Avenue Bridge underpass, MIT buildings on your left, and the Charles River Yacht Club boathouse on your right, there will be a small green sign on your left with a left arrow that says 'Kendall Square'. Go left here, across the westbound side of Memorial Drive and onto Wadsworth Street. Take Wadsworth Street two blocks to the end and at the stop sign go right. The second driveway entrance on your right is the One Memorial Drive driveway, but you must circle around the building in order to enter from the correct side. So take your first right after the building onto Memorial Drive westbound and then your first right into the entrance to the One Memorial Drive driveway to the garage.
